Sweat Lodges

Sweat Lodges are an ancient ceremony which help participants purify and find presence. Expect to experience intense heat, complete darkness and be guided on a journey with support, safety & love. Participants often report that it was the most profound experience of their life and leave feeling connected and renewed.

The Sweat Lodge is for sincere spiritual seekers looking for a rewarding challenge.

Tim is not of First Nations origin. For that reason and many others, he is focused on being respectful and True in performing ceremonies that have originated from cultures that have historically had much taken from them. Proceeds from the Lodges are used to cover the ongoing costs of Lodge maintenance and awareness. Some of the proceeds are directed to worthy causes and needy people. The Lodges are carried out with a focus on safety at all times. Every participant is respectfully requested to take full responsibility for their own wellbeing whilst attending.

Because the Sweat Lodge involves a fire pit it can only be held when weather seasons permit, this is generally from May to October each year. Subscribe here to Anskeya’s Newsletter to be informed as to when they start again in 2023.

The Sweat Lodge is an ancient and very sacred ceremony requiring deep sincerity, strong intention, and a good heart.

It attracts those inquiring in to what is standing in the way of them experiencing a deeply fulfilling and whole Life. The Sweat Lodge can be challenging in that it is very hot, dark and sometimes physically uncomfortable. The lessons of the Lodge go beyond the physical inconveniences by creating a unique environment for transcending the physical. The Lodge is a beautiful experience with many participants reporting that it is the most amazing thing they have ever done, in equal measure it can be challenging and is not for the faint of heart. Only those who are Self Responsible and sincere should apply.

For me going to a Sweat Lodge with Tim is a self care and self love act where I find and connect with myself, as well as with others, in the uncomfort of total darkness, extreme heat and vulnerability, as well as in the beauty of prayer, singing and sharing. Tim holds the space in such a beautiful, strong and loving way, being also very informative, responsible and respectful with this tradition and ceremony. Thank you so much Tim for sharing this powerful and full of beauty medicine!
